The Ashfield Learning Partnership is a group of six secondary and nine primary schools in the Ashfield area of Nottinghamshire. Formerly the Ashfield Excellence Cluster, we are continuing to work together to improve the achievement, aspirations and life chances of Ashfield's children and young people. We aim to do this by:
working and learning collaboratively in order to identify and meet their learning needs,
extending their opportunities to engage in rich learning activities,
developing their communication skills,
working in partnership with their parents, carers and communities.
The Partnership is committed to providing a programme of activities to meet the needs of schools as they work to improve outcomes and opportunities for pupils. As well as supporting individual school priorities, these programmes will link with relevant local and national initiatives. Partnership programmes may include networks of practitioners developing and sharing aspects of practice, CPD activities and events for groups of children and young people. The Partnership continues to support the training and work of Learning Mentors and to provide network support for lead teachers in Gifted and Talented provision.
A number of our events are open to other schools. Check our diary for details or contact us.
